This stunning 2 Oz Silver coin is dedicated to one of the most fascinating paintings by Vincent Van Gogh: Starry Night Over The Rhone. The coin features a wonderful colored design, has Antique Finish Quality and comes in a themed case, along with a Numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of only 500 pieces worldwide.
The reverse of the coin features a beautiful reproduction of “Starry Night Over The Rhone” by Vincent Van Gogh. This is a piece that offers all the same soft and delicate brushstrokes of some more famous paintings and the viewer can see clearly the movement of the water and the feeling of the stillness of the night. The picture is delivered in textured relief which means that not a single brush stroke is lost in the transfer. The texture is crisp and clear and the colors come across beautifully. The frame surrounding the painting presents floral ornaments. The obverse features an original design depicting a portrait of the artist himself and the theme of this collectible, Starry Night over the Rhone, in a currency note style as the design of the legal tender, featuring the Coat of Arms du Chad and the inscriptions: “10000 TEN THOUSAND FRANCS CFA” – the face value, “REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD” – the country of issue and “2022” – the year of issue.
