I'm trying to grow cherry tomatoes in my apartment. I'm using 9 inch pots with 3 foot green plastic garden stakes. I was looking for something to clip onto the stakes that will hold up the plants but not hurt the stalks. I found these and it's the perfect solution. What I like are the two sizes so I can use the larger ones on thicker stalks. Also, I can move the clips on my stakes to accommodate the height and weight of the plants. Finally, I'll be able to store my stakes and clips in the closet over the winter. No room for giant tomato cages. Highly recommend these to go with your stakes.
I go through hundreds of these every year for my tomato plants. Using clips gives support to the plant and creates huge, healthy stalks to deliver plant nutrients throughout.
