This beautiful 2 Oz Silver coin is dedicated the Greek sculpture of Discobolus of Myron. The coin is shaped, has Antique Finish quality, has an High Relief and comes in a themed case, along with the Certificate of Autheticity. Limited mintage of only 500 pieces worldwide.
The reverse of the coin features the sculpture of Discobolus of Myron, Greek sculpture from the classical period of 460-450 BC
. The sculpture shows a young man throwing a discus and is thought to be one of the best renderings of this sport from this period. This statue has long been revered as a fine example of the way in which sculpture can communicate motion and tension. The obvserse of the coin depicts the Coat of Arms of Chad and the inscriptions: “REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD” – the issuing country, “10000 FRANCS CFA” – the face value, “2022” – the year of issue and “999 FINE SILVER”, the fineness of the Silver.
