This beautiful 2 Oz Silver coin is the second issue in the “Great Greek Mythology” series, featuring the most famous characters of Greek mythology. In this issue: Aphrodite. The coin has a beautiful design with High Relief and selective Gilding. It comes in a gorgeous wooden case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of 500 pieces worldwide. The reverse of the coin depicts an incredibly detailed image of Aphrodite, the goddess of fertility, eternal spring, and life, the queen of nymphs and graces. Her sanctuaries were full of the scent of fragrant myrrh, roses, fresh young apples, and pomegranates, and the holiday in honor of the goddess was accompanied by wild dances and songs until the morning. The goddess holds a Gilded apple, has long wavy hairs and is surrounded by waves. On the right, the inscription: “APHRODITE” – the name of the coin. The obverse of the coin features an image of the Olympus, surrounded by a laurel wreath and the typical Greek pattern. The deisgn also incorporates the inscriptions: “REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN” – the country of issue, “2000 FRANCS CFA” – the face value, “2022” – the year of issue, “2OZ” – the weight of the coin and “Ag 999” – the fineness of the Silver.
