Obverse: The coat of arms of Cameroon is located on the obverse, contrasted against a field patterned with a radial burst of wavy lines. Inscriptions include "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN," "2021" and the coin's "500 FRANCS CFA" denomination. "AG .999" and the Mint of Poland's Mint mark "MW" (Mennica Warszawska) are inscribed adjacent to the base of the national emblem.
Reverse: On the reverse, an astronomical chart adorned with diagrams and names of constellations encircles a digitally printed rendition of Saturn, with its delicate rings overlapping the star chart. The planet is encased in a magnifying lens that enhances the viewing experience, while the coin's rim and several heavenly bodies are embellished with gold plating.
