This 1982 Mercedes-Benz 240D 200-Series is powered by a 2.4-liter diesel inline-four engine, one of the most reliable engines ever made, paired with a four speed manual transmission.  Mercedes-Benz classic white exterior, Palomino tan interior, no rust, factory sunroof, factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, and new tires on aluminum wheel well trim.  Car has had impeccable service and has been a great daily driver.  The car has never been damaged or in an accident, and is in great original shape.   Originally I bought this car from a man in West Palm Beach, Florida.  The car has 192987 miles.  I have owned the car for 12 years and have records of all oil changes and maintenance performed.  There are not any oil or water leaks.  Everything in the cars dashboard, seat mechanics, climate control all work like new.  The cruise control and central door locking system does not work.  The interior is in very good condition for the age of the car.  The car also has a factory installed right-side rear view mirror.  The frame/trunk look like new, as the car has been garaged most of it's life.  Paint is good for the age.  The suspension, bushings, and control arms have recently been replaced.  All door panels and headliner are in very good shape.  It's a nice reliable classic that can be daily driven.  After market cup holders are located in the center console storage cubby are not permanently affixed to the car.  Instrumentation includes an 85-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure.  The six-digit odometer shows just over 192987 miles.  The air-conditioner is wonderful and blows cold air, the compressor and dryer expansion valve have just been replaced, July 8th, 2021.  The tires, the power radio antenna are new, July 8th, 2021.  The oil, filter, and lube were also performed July 8th, 2021.  Other important maintenance performed, the muffler has been replaced, all fluids have been drained and replaced, fuel return hoses replaced, brake master cylinder - cluter master cylinder - slave cylinder - brake fluid have been replaced, rebuilt front end - align wheels, glow plugs replaced. lifters adjusted and valve cover gasket replaced, starter and battery replaced, the windshield and the interior and 2 exterior rear view mirrors replaced.  There is rock chip damage on the lower left portion on the driver's side of the windshield, which has been professionally repaired, it does not obstruct the driver's vision.  The driver and front passenger sun visors are new.  There is also a Mercedes-Benz 240D car cover in the trunk.  The factory book and manuals are included in the sale along with a tool kit, the Mercedes-Benz original First-Aid kit, and my service records.  More pictures are available.  I've loved this Mercedes!  I believe it will run forever!  I am not a mechanic!  All service and maintenance has be performed by the "German Auto Center", in San Antonio, Texas.  Horace Leinen, Tony, and Eric are the best Mercedes-Benz mechanics in San Antonio.
